The highway where Andrew's accident occurred has a serious design flaw. I've seen it. There is a movement by Andrew's mom, the homeowners association and the PTSA campaigning to change the road. The ramp leads from the northbound Route 29 lanes to westbound Interstate 70, and requires drivers to cross over the southbound lanes of Route 29. In other words, to enter the road after only a yield sign you must enter onto the fast lane of oncoming traffic. There have been multiple petition signing events, and multiple newspaper articles. Please consider signing the petition.

I signed the petition and had my family sign it too. My husband works with a lot of people who live in Maryland, so I will have him pass the petition out at his work too.
I really hope that this petition helps to get the road fixed. Please let me know if there is anything else we can do to help...
Thank you. There are over 3,000 handwritten signatures to submit, and the online petition. We just need to keep a presence!
