Today we planted a memorial tree for Andrew at his preschool. Our daughter Lauren and her son were with us. It is a dogwood tree. The meaning of a dogwood is Love undiminished by adversity.

That's beautiful and a great memorial for a loved one. Dogwood trees are all over this part of the country and April is a riot of color with the white or pink dogwoods. People here have paired them with azaleas, which bloom at the same time. It is a breathtaking display.
