Today

Today I saw a young shih tzu pup who was the spitting image of Molly. She was so cuddly and friendly. She pranced around and visited everyone. Her tail was swishing all the while. Her eyes were on her momma all of the time, as she followed her everywhere. What a happy little girl. She reminded me so much of Molly.

Today was also Joeann's 25 year wedding vow renewal ceremony. What a beautiful ceremony, lovely family. It was done with such style and humor. During the ceremony Shep sang along with an old 70s soul song to his bride, with the groomsmen doing backup. It was touching and hilarious. Throughout the day, they showed much love and much humor with each other and their lives. They often had us laughing. They also brought me to tears several times, especially watching the 1st dance, and then each as each parent danced with each of their children. They played a video of their love story, talking about how they met, how they felt about each other and their children. What a loving family. I feel honored to have been chosen to be there. At the end of the day as our group from work was getting ready to leave, Joeann introduced us to her friends and family. I was really touched by that. Always giving to others. What a wonderful example for all of us.

I came home to my own husband working on one of my computers. I'm going to give it to my niece tomorrow since hers is no longer working. Her daughter turns 3 and we're going to have a family birthday party at our house. These are things my brother Randy would've done for his daughter and grandaughter, my niece and grand niece. Time for some of our own family memories.

What a good weekend it's been so far! Today was emotional but it was a good day.
